Intervention 03 · For professionals
The medicine cabinet is in your body.
For professionals who work with people, behaviour, body and recovery themselves and want to take that work deeper. Coaches, psychologists, therapists, physiotherapists, bodyworkers and psychomotor therapists. Medicine Body works with fascia, breath and the nervous system, and lets you first experience in your own body what you will later do with clients.
Sound familiar?
Challenges from practiceWhat you can bring to me.
- 01
Clients who understand it in their heads, while their bodies do something else
- 02
You want to work more with the body, yet lack the first-hand experience to do it well
- 03
Conversations that get stuck on tension that isn't about anything in particular, yet is everywhere
- 04
Your own recovery falls by the wayside while you care for others all day
- 05
A team at a treatment centre or recovery house looking for one shared language about the body and regulation
- 06
You know the theory of the nervous system and want to feel how it works
Sound familiar? Then Medicine Body is a deepening you first live through yourself, before you take it into your work.
Discuss your challengeWhat it is
Your body remembers what your head forgot long ago.
Anyone who works with people sees it every day: tension that settles in a neck, a breath that stays high, a body that tells a different story from the words.
Tension builds up in the connective tissue, the fascia, and in the way someone breathes and stands. The nervous system gets used to it and calls it normal. Medicine Body works with this through movement, breath, self-massage and attention, and helps the system regulate again.
I put this approach together from Aikido, Qi Gong, somatic movement, Play Fight, meditation and improvisation. It sounds like a lot. In practice it is mostly slow and precise. You work with what you actually feel in the moment, instead of what you think you should feel.
You start with your own body. What you have felt for yourself, you can later use with clients with more confidence. That takes a willingness to work with direct physical experience, even when it isn't comfortable.
What it's about
In the body, out of the headWhat Medicine Body works on.
- 01
Fascia and posture
Where tension settles in the connective tissue, and how targeted movement gets it moving again.
- 02
Breath
Most people under pressure breathe high and short. You change that by practising, again and again.
- 03
Nervous system
From constant alertness to being able to switch between effort and recovery. That is the core of resilience.
- 04
Integration
What you feel in the session needs to come with you to Monday morning. That is why we keep alternating sensing with the question of what it means for your working day.

What it brings
What you can do with it.
Medicine Body is specialist deepening for people who work with people. Here is what you can expect.
First-hand experience with the body
You have felt for yourself what fascia, breath and regulation do. That makes what you tell clients more credible and more precise.
A nervous system that can switch again
For yourself first. You notice it in small things: falling asleep sooner, a longer fuse, staying calmer when things get busy.
Methods you can use yourself
Simple exercises for breath, movement and self-massage that suit your profession and your clients.
More grounding in your work
When you feel your own body again, you stand more firmly in a session or conversation and notice sooner when it is enough.
