Intervention 02 · For teams and leaders
The nine types stand up.
For teams and leaders who want to understand why the same friction keeps coming back. Based on my book The Embodiment of the Enneagram. Here, the Enneagram is a way of seeing how people respond in collaboration and decision-making. The missing link in the Enneagram is embodiment: feeling the types through in your own body.
Sound familiar?
Challenges from practiceWhat you can bring to me.
- 01
Friction in the team that keeps coming back, even after good conversations
- 02
Roles that nobody assigned, yet everyone holds on to
- 03
Decision-making that stalls because the same people always do the same thing
- 04
A management team that understands each other on content, yet keeps working at cross purposes
- 05
Leaders who want to know what their own reaction under pressure does to the team
- 06
Organisations that see their people as their greatest asset and want to act accordingly
Sound familiar? Then a constellation makes visible what stays unspoken in conversations.
Discuss your challengeWhat it is
The patterns you don't see matter most.

Every team has invisible agreements. Who reacts first to bad news. Who always rescues the mood. Who stays silent until things go wrong.
With constellations we make those agreements visible. Team members literally take up a place in the room, in relation to each other and to the challenge on the table. What you then see in distance, direction and posture often matches what happens at work uncannily well.
The Enneagram gives this a language. Nine ways of responding to pressure, from the Small Buddha to the Master Sensei. We embody them one by one: how do you stand, how do you breathe, where do you look? You recognise yourself, and above all your colleagues. That last part brings the most laughter and the best conversations.
Because this work goes deeper than Flow Motion, I always work with a second professional trainer here. That way there is enough attention and safety in the group.

The book behind the constellations
The Embodiment of the Enneagram
The embodiment the Enneagram was missing
Much has been written about the Enneagram. It is a rich process model that has helped millions of people understand themselves better. And yet something essential is often missing: embodiment. This book connects head, heart and body, so that knowledge of the nine types turns into lived experience. It is the foundation of the constellations Richard does with teams.
A copy of their own for every participant
Clients can order the book for their participants. I make sure the books arrive in advance, so everyone receives their own copy. That way the programme and the book fit together.
What becomes visible
On the mat you see it straight awayWhat the constellation makes visible.
- 01
Behaviour and communication in the team
How messages really land, regardless of what is said. And where they get lost along the way.
- 02
Interaction under pressure
What happens to the collaboration when a deadline, a complaint or a reorganisation is added to the mix.
- 03
Role behaviour and automatic reactions
The role you take on without thinking about it. Often the same one as at home, by the way.
- 04
Where it gets stuck and where it speeds up
Constellations show the problem. They also show where the energy is flowing.

How the day runs
A day of constellations.
Every day programme follows the same professional structure. We tailor the exact exercises, techniques and content to your group, your question and the goal of the day. A half day is more focused and has no lunch. There are always two trainers present.
-
01
Arrival and welcome
Come in, have a coffee or tea, and take a moment to settle into the space.
-
02
Introduction and getting to know each other
Who are we, what is the question, and what needs to be different after today?
-
03
Landing and warm-up
In a circle, standing or seated. Breath, posture, being present.
-
04
Short meditation and body check
A moment of stillness. Sensing where you are before you start doing anything.
-
05
Core principles
An introduction to the nine types and the method. Do first, recognise afterwards.
-
06
Short break: fight, flight, freeze
What does your body do when things get tense, and how do you get moving again?
-
07
Lunch break
Time to do nothing for a while. Lunch is not included in the programme.
-
08
Constellations
The long session of about 2.5 to 3 hours. A challenge from your team is set up in the room: who stands where, who looks where, and what happens when someone takes a step?
-
09
Translating to practice
Sharing, feedback and reflection, in two groups with both trainers.
-
10
Closing
Finishing together, the way we started.

What it brings
What you can do with it.
Your team is your greatest asset. This intervention shows how it works and where it gets stuck, and gives everyone something concrete to do differently.
You see the dynamics instead of opinions about them
In a few minutes, a constellation shows what a team has been talking around for months. That creates a shared picture nobody can ignore any more.
Insight held in the body
Once you have stood in a type and felt it, you don't forget it. That is why embodiment lasts longer than a model on paper.
Understanding each other's reactions under pressure
When you know why a colleague shuts down or pushes on, you have a starting point to work on it together.
A concrete different step
Every constellation ends with a movement: someone takes a step, turns around, lets go. That is change on a small scale, and you take it with you.
Honest up front
Is this right for you?

- Organisations willing to discuss personal behaviour
No
Not a fit for
- Teams who only want to fill in an Enneagram test
- Groups where safety is so low that nobody dares to speak up (then we start with Flow Motion)
- Anyone who wants to use the Enneagram to put colleagues in boxes
- Anyone looking for a fun afternoon without the willingness to explore anything

Investment · Embodiment of the Enneagram
What it costs.
More specialised and more intensive than Flow Motion. A second professional trainer is always present, and the personal depth is greater. That is reflected in the price.
Prices per group of up to 12 participants, excl. VAT. Lunch is not included. Larger groups work with additional senior trainers: 13 to 24 participants with two trainers, 25 to 36 with three. Multi-day programmes and combinations are tailor-made. The book The Embodiment of the Enneagram can be ordered for every participant.
